Trouble with my Website – Friday 13th

Today – Friday 13th? I had trouble with my website. I logged onto my site to make a post, but noticed none of the links worked on my website. And it had reverted back to an old design – I did actually nothing. I hadn’t made any posts for a while.
It was most odd. I was beginning to think – ok this is some kind of mysterious Friday 13th thing!!!!
I reverted to my recently stored backup (luckily enough) – still nothing. Any change I made was not reflected on the website.
Luckily with help from my hosting company – blacknight.com. The issue was resolved. The ftp details I had been using to make any back-end changes to the website no longer worked. I had to use ftp details – that had previously not worked for me.
Still very mysterious – one day it worked – next day it didn’t.
But all is fine now – I managed to ftp into the site with new ftp details – and indeed everything was completely wonky inside these folders – it was an older site from about 2 months ago. I fixed it and all is good now – Phew!!!! Time to get that glass of wine out.
