mmt_logoThe MPhil. in Music and Media Technologies, Trinity College presented the MMT FEST09 – The Music and Media Technologies 2009 Grad show. The Masters’ students presented a variety of work, including interactive installations, surround sound technologies, audiovisual pieces and a live performance of original electroacoustic and mixed media compositions. The four day event presented an eclectic mix of new and exciting artistic and musical ventures.

An exhibition of work showcasing interactive installations, audio spatialisation and surround sound systems took place in the Joy Gallery, and was followed by a concert in the Samuel Beckett theatre, Trinity College, presenting acoustic ensemble and electronic compositions.

I was at the concert in the Beckett theatre and it was excellent with a new range of talent in music composition and performance. Some of the staff and students gathered together for some relaxation in Chaplins bar after for a well deserved break.  Some were taken by John Bates – thanks for that John.
