This Photograph was taken in my backgarden, our small garden has two sides of hawthorn tress, and the trees reveal their own natural beauty through the seasons – this photo captures a winter cycle.

We have just recently replanted the field (I mean lawn) in our back garden…no easy feat what so ever. Of course, I only did some of the work, part of my labour was contributing to the design. Slabs were put down….slopes reshaped and loads of seed was sown.

I took this photo in my front garden – I took several shots, trying to capture at least one very clear rain drop, dripping from the hawthorn bush that goes right down the side of our house. The place was just one of this dripping with rain days in Carlow.
