Lakeside Self Catering Holiday Accommodation

The Lakeside Self Catering Accommodation website is a simple 8 page brochure website to advertise self catering holiday accommodation in Co. Leitrim and provide information about the accommodation on offer and the facilities of the area.
Green and Gold
Some photographs were provides to be used in the design and there was a request to use the colours of green and gold. The green and gold was used subtly in the navigation and background colours, and it was contrasted with turquoise, white and black for impact. The site is still under constuction and future features to be added by the owners are a photo gallery and more extensive links to future resources. This area of leitrim is really unspoiled and very beautiful, worth checking it out.
Static xHTML files – Brochure Website
The website brief was really straightforward and this site took only a few days to build, as there are only a few pages. The pages are static xHTML files and the site is being updated with adobe contribute, which is an easy to use software for editing text and updating the pages of a website. Adobe Contribute is a what you see is what you get editor, so it looks like you are actually updating the page as it is, hence it is really straight forward to use and very useful for smaller brochure type sites that dont need to have any regular posting of news items etc. Contribute costs around 180 euro and is a good updating solution for brochure, static xHTML files websites,
