Dublin GAA Game Games Development asked me to create a shopping cart layout solution in order to sell four of their training and resource book publications. The website has been developed in wordpress, so I installed and designed the presentation of a simple shopping cart solution for the four books, adding in an easy to use interface for adding the book to the shopping cart, getting more information about the book, being able to see the contents of the shopping cart in the sidebar in order to encourage more sales and also in providing a pdf viewer solution, where a viewer can immediately see in the book detail page a four page extract from the book.
The Dublin GAA Games Development team had already set up paypal and hence all I had to do was integrate this design and shopping cart solution to their paypal account. I added in some nice graphics to make the shopping experience pleasant and easy to use. This sort of solution is excellent if you have a few products to sell online and paypal is a safe and secure way to make web purchases.
